After a long pause, the music of Antonio Vivaldi returned to Tbilisi State Conservatoire — and the concert was sold out. The evening took place in one of the region’s most remarkable musical venues, where classical music feels especially natural, resonant and alive.
Established in 1921, Tbilisi State Conservatoire is known for its refined acoustics, deep resonance and striking architecture. Its façade, combining Eastern and classical architectural elements, gives the building a majestic character and makes it a natural home for performances where sound and space matter equally.
In the glow of candles, Vivaldi’s legendary cycle gained a special atmosphere. The Four Seasons did not feel like a distant monument of classical music; it moved through the hall with vivid energy, shifting from spring lightness to summer tension, from autumn richness to the clear, cold breath of winter.
For us, this concert was an important return. After a long break, the music of Antonio Vivaldi once again filled Tbilisi State Conservatoire, reminding us how powerfully a familiar masterpiece can resonate when it returns to the right place.
